About Union County Musicfest:
Last year over 50,000 people packed Nomahegan Park to watch legendary artists Live, Chuck Berry, English Beat, The Alarm, Fountains of Wayne, Apples in Stereo and Smithereens. This year the Festival takes place on September 5th & 6th at Nomahegan Park in Cranford New Jersey, USA and an even larger crowd is expected! LEARN MORE!

2008 Union County Music Festival Contest Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. CONTEST VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Participation and submission of video constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. The Union County Music Festival Contest ("Contest") begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Standard Time ("CST") May 12, 2008 and ends at 5:00 p.m. CST on July 1, 2008 ("Contest Period"). In these Official Rules, "Sponsor" means “Love Hope Strength Foundation”. Entries submitted after Contest Period will not be considered or judged. The Winner will be announced on or about August 15, 2008 or otherwise stated.
Only the original author (and including the author's affiliated band members) who submitted the music video may enter or win (in the event of a dispute as to authorship, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry or winner; Sponsor's decisions are final). Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Contest may only be entered from and in eligible jurisdictions. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in the Contest, you are granting Sponsor an irrevocable right and license to publish, use, edit, and display any or all of the content in your submission, without further approval, without territorial, time, or other limitations, for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes. By participating in the Contest, you are also granting Sponsor the irrevocable right and license to use your name, image, and likeness for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes.
The Winners will be selected in accordance with the published judging procedure. No alternative prize, cash, or other substitution is permitted except by Sponsor in the event of prize unavailability. Prizes are non-transferable. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of Winners. Finalists (or their parents or guardians if finalists are under the age of 18) will be required to sign a waiver and release in order to perform in New Jersey as part of this Contest.
General Terms and Conditions:
By participating in the Contest, entrant agrees that under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall Sponsor, their respective officers, directors, employees, members, agents, successors, and assigns (the "Released Parties") be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of participation in the Contest, even if any or all of the Released Parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore such exclusions may not apply to you. By participating in the Contest, entrant waives any and all rights to bring any claim or action related to his/her/its participation in any forum beyond one (1) year after the first occurrence of the kind of act, event, condition or omission upon which the claim or action is based. By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person, entry, or e-mail address that Sponsor determines to be in violation of any term contained in these Official Rules. Sponsor and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, and the respective employees, officers, directors, members, agents, and representatives of each, are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible or postage-due entries, notices, releases, forms, affidavits, or other correspondence; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, interruptions or difficulties of any kind; (iii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result from participation in the Contest, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, to the extent permitted by law; or (vi) any errors in any materials associated with the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest if any problem corrupts the administration, security, or operation of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Prizes will include:
1. 1 set in the Union County Music Fest “UCMF” Lineup. Time, date and length of set to be determined. UCMF is a family friendly event no elicit lyrics are accepted. Dates of UCMF are September 4,5,6, 2008. Please see www.ucmusicfest,org for more details.
2. 2 hotel rooms near venue. Room will not include any incidentals. Travel and other expenses are responsibilty of artist and will NOT be paid for by Sponsor.
3. Artist name and billing on UCMF line-up and website.
4. Top friends location on Love Hope Strength MySpace page for 1 year from UCMF 08.
5. Placement on Love Hope Strength artist page on LHS Website for 1 year from UCMF 08.
