North Wales needs more bone marrow donors
THE plight of a rock star and a young boy who have both battled leukaemia was raised in a parliament to highlight the need for more bone marrow donors.
Labour’s Chris Ruane secured a debate to push for changes to the current system and drew on the personal experiences of friends Mike Peters, frontman of rock band the Alarm, and Max Tami, whose father Mark is the MP for Alyn and Deeside.
