Gena Rositano finds it ironic that she will be climbing an actual mountain, as she has enough trouble just walking around the block. However, she is going to make it to the top (heck, it’s not as high as kilamanjaro…is it?) in honor of her mother who is fighting the fight at this moment and in rememberance of her good friend Julie who was taken by cancer a few years ago….she is also climbing for anyone who has ever had to deal with or cancer, in any way, shape or form.

When she is not fretting about the long climb ahead, Gena works in television as a stage manager for Satrurday night live and Spectacle with Elvis Costello.

She is married to Robin Wilson of the Gin Blossoms, who actually did make it to the top of Kilamanjoro last year with LHS. They have a beautiful 8 year old boy named grey, who is the coolest. Gena also finds it disconcerting writing about herself in third person, but what the heck, she hopes you have a really great day.
