Jared Witt is an avid outdoors’ man trapped in a lawyer’s body. Although he spends most days helping people with their legal affairs, he spends his free time outside. Jared met his future wife, Christine, while climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, and they honeymooned in Peru hiking the Inca Trail. Before having kids, Jared enjoyed kayaking, rock climbing, skiing and mountain biking. Now Jared’s outdoor pursuits include walking the dog with his two daughters and son and riding his bike to the playground.
Jared is joining the Love Hope Strength Foundation’s Mt. Fuji climb with his sister Tamar to honor the memory of their mother, Sarah, who died of breast cancer in 1983 at the age of 49. Although Jared’s children will never have the opportunity to know their grandmother, Jared would like them to know of her strength, her sense of adventure, and her love for her family.
