As part of my fascination with Mount Everest I caught Everest Rocks a couple years ago on TV.  I made a small donation and joined the e-mail list for LHS.  Last year when LHS announced Pikes Peak Rocks I decided to make the hike.  It was a great trip that I started by myself, but finished with many new friends who I respect very much.  Last year I asked to carry one Prayer Flag, but Shannon gave me all of them!

It was truly an honor to unpack the flags on top of Pikes Peak and see them hung before our concert.  I look forward to another successful hike, raising money to fight cancer while making more new friends.  I’ve done a little recruiting along the way, not only for donations but for hikers too.  It’s always amazing when you give that you also receive and never more true with LHS.ncer.
