Hi, my name is Kim Gibson and have lived in Atlanta Georgia the past 18 years. Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina I also went to school at UNC-Greensboro and graduated in 1992. Currently I am a sales rep for Bancsource Inc selling ATMs, bank equipment and maintenance contracts.
A couple of years ago one of my good friends from Atlanta moved back home to Denver and invited me out to visit and I instantly fell in love with Colorado! The summers in Colorado are absolutely amazing and I discovered a whole new world hiking the Rocky Mountains. Since then I have hiked seven “14ers”. For you non- Coloradans that is a 14,000 + foot mountain.
I also have a huge passion for music so when I learned about a charity hike that involved music and climbing one of the most famous and most difficult Colorado 14ers I knew immediately I wanted to be a part of the adventure!
Everyone has been touched in one way or another by cancer whether it be directly or through family, friends or friends of friends.
