Oct 2, 2009 Today 25 legendary musicians (including Mike Peters of The Alarm, Cy Curnin of The Fixx, Robin Wilson of the Gin Blossoms, Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze, Slim Jim Phantom of The Stray Cats, and Nick Harper), cancer survivors, and supporters from the Love Hope Strength Foundation aligned their symbolic trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro with Lance Armstrong’s, LIVESTRONG day. Each member of the team stood holding yellow prayer flags to add to the power of his global message.

“We look each other in the eye now and revel in each other’s love of life. We’ve stepped out of the shadows of our distant routine lives and united for one simple cause. To spread the word that, LOVE HOPE STRENGTH is a force that will and has already has sent ripples around this mortal coil.”
