Born, raised and reside in Chicago. A 22 year veteran of Chicago Fire dept. working as a Paramedic, instructor and photographer . I have been an advocate for early detection and research of cancer for several years. Being a fan of music and adventure, I joined love Hope and Strength last year for the Peru Rocks trek. The trek to Peru was a life changing experience. Never have I met such a large group of selfless people working towards the same goal; to kick cancer’s ass!!! This year I will be dedicating my trek up Pikes Peak to my dad, Raul Mora, who has been cancer free for one year; Teresita Andrade, whose cancer just went into remission; and my Father-in-law Bogdan Truszkowski who is currently doing battle with colon cancer. It seems that the list of people affected by Cancer is extensive and if we can do some good in reducing the tole it has taken on us as a human race we have already succeeded. Let’s rock the Rockies!!!!
