Since a 48-hour solo at the age of 13 in the Adirondacks, Nick has been a diehard fan of the mountains. The former publisher of Bicycling and Mountain Bike magazines, Nick is currently the Northwestern sales manager for those titles, plus Backpacker and Runner’s World. He lives in Petaluma, California, and is also a trained yoga teacher.
