I am Steve Abrams, 68 years young and live in Minneapolis MN. I am blessed with a wonderful family. A beautiful, talented, loving wife, three daughters, one son and five incredible grandchildren. I am Joining the Pike Peaks rocks climb because I have had encounters with this terrible disease in many ways during my lifetime. I am a cancer survivor, having had prostate cancer 15 years ago. I have lost close friends and relatives through the years to cancer. Recently a long time and very dear friend to me passed away after a nine year battle with cancer. I am dedicating my climb in the memory of Steven Ross and feel very excited and proud to undertake this challenge with his support from above. My wonderful wife, Sheri, will also be climbing Pikes Peak. She has also been touched by this disease having lost her husband 13 years ago to cancer and her mother 12 years ago also to this dreaded disease. Together we are excited to take on this challenge in the memory of all those we love and miss so dearly.
