Laine Kaplowitz lives in Washington, DC and is the Director of Publicity for Landmark Theatres. Currently she lives on Capitol Hill with her husband, Rick Klein, son Jack (a new addition since Peru Rocks!) and their black lab mix, Alfie. After hiking the Inca Trail with the Love Hope Strength crew, Laine was excited for the opportunity to raise money for cancer and do another hike with this incredible organization.
Stacy Kaplowitz, Laine’s little sister, is 30 years old and lives in Austin, TX with her husband Todd Cohen, and their yellow lab mix, Josey. She is an affordable housing developer and is active in Austin’s local improv community. It didn’t take much for Laine to convince Stacy to join her on this awesome trip.

Participating in LHS’s Pike’s Peak climb is a perfect way for Laine & Stacy to honor their friends and family that have been affected by cancer, and to raise funds for research to find a cure.
