Terri Leiser made the move to Colorado in 1994, in pursuit of the promised land. Bringing together both her love for children and Alpine skiing, she began as a ski instructor at Vail Resort. Inspired by her mountaineering father, she could not wait to climb her first 14er. Her first attempt at summiting a 14er, Mount Belford @ 14,197 feet with her father, ignited her passion for mountaineering. She has since summited, 40 (of the ~ 59) 14ers in Colorado. As a Personal Banker at Mutual of Omaha Bank in Nederland, she takes every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with her husband Al and dogs Casey & Cumberland. In 2008 Terri, Al and another local friend founded The Nederland Curling Club. Terri is extremely excited to be participating in this symbolic climb and first ever concert atop Pikes Peak to benefit Cancer research. Terri is participating in this event in conjunction with Mile High Insurance, the health, life and travel insurance provider for Love Hope Strength Foundation trekkers worldwide.
