Love Hope Strength Foundation

Tony Silverman

Chip, Thanks for being there for Bill. I am 66 yrs old and live in Scottsdale, AZ. Love, Hope, Strength is a dream come true for me. Music, Fitness and Fighting cancer are the three main passions in my life.

I led my own blues bands in the Twin Cities in the 60’s and 70’s: The Paragons, Neon Circus, and Soulberry Jam. I have supported musicians and musical events over the years through the Harry and Adeline Silverman Foundation. I believe world peace will be achieved through music.

I have logged over 70,000 miles on foot since 1973. I have run 16 marathons: Boston, NY, and Grandma’s (most under three hours). I have raced the Grand Canyon rim to rim, Immogene Pass Telluride, and the Pikes Peak Marathon. I still cover at least 25 miles per week walking and hiking.

As an investment banker for the past 40 years, I have created or funded many companies whose goal was to eradicate cancer. Most notably, Thermogenesis, leukemia (KOOL); Isoray, prostate cancer (ISR). I am currently President and Chairman of Oncologics Tech. (OLCG), a company that is developing a promising new therapy for liver cancer. LHS, I will help you kick cancer’s ass.

I am dedicating my Pikes Peak climb to Mike Dunlap who is currently in the battle, and to my little sister, Margie who lost the battle, to Mike Huls who won his battle with brain cancer 16 years ago, and to my son Bill who will always be with us.
