This is why Footbalance supports Love Hope Strength (LHS), a cancer foundation dedicated to saving lives, one concert at a time.
LHS travels the world attending concerts and music festivals, and climbing mountains with musicians to put on concerts in crazy places (Fuji, Kilimanjaro, and Everest, just to name a few) in an effort to build cancer centers and get people on the list to become marrow donors with a simple swab of their cheek. If you can give just a few minutes of your time you could wind up saving someone’s life right now or somewhere down the road. LHS has registered a remarkable 30,000 people to the national registery and found nearly 500 potentially living marrow matches.
We want to say thank you to Snowsport Industries of America (SIA) for inviting LHS to the 2013 SIA Snow Show (and every trade show since 2007) and allowing them to swab some cheeks on the trade show floor because five new matches came from those days that seemed to fly by for most of us. When our lives seem so hectic we tend to forget that there are other’s to whom life seems unnaturally short because they are waiting on a potential donor for survival. Other sponsors of LHS that were at SIA Snow Show this year are Marmot, Smith, Leki, Point6, Grace Skis, and Suunto. Footbalance wants to thank them for being a part of this respectable initiative as well.
