Richard Rees is an entrepreneur with roots in entertainment business. He was the co-founder of one of the first commercial alternative rock radio stations in America, KCGL-FM in Salt Lake City. He went on to start-up and own K•NACK, Austin, Texas and KENZ-FM (The End, Salt Lake City. Mr. Rees sold his radio stations in 1997.

He formed Digital Music Group, Inc. one of the first independent music distributors to iTunes that eventually merged with The Orchard.

Recent endeavors include the IPO of The Joint, a 400 unit chiropractic chain as well as serving on the board of the Sun Radio foundation.
