A really fantastic friend of mine recently got involved with an amazing cause. Love Hope Strength’s motto is “saving lives one concert at a time”. Volunteers set up at awesome shows and help set up attendees as bone marrow donors. If you’re like me, you probably have a lot of misconceptions about the process and I’m really happy that I ended up in the right place at the right time to learn differently. Here’s a whole list of information about eligibility and the process. And if you run into any volunteers at your next gig, talk to them- they are quite knowledgeable.
Again, if you’re like me, your life has been seriously affected by cancer. If you’re not ready or ineligible to get on the list as a donor, Love Hope Strength is a worthy cause to put some cash behind or volunteer your time with. Here’s a list of some of the great things LHS has accomplished.
